Sol del Sur has been accepted to Etsy Wholesale! It is a private, juried marketplace where buyers can discover unique, hard-to-find products from artists, designers, and vintage vendors.

I’m looking forward to its opening and being able to share my goods though wholesale in a good looking and functional marketplace.

Last Saturday I was at an event at West Elm in West Hollywood. It was hosted by the great Emily Henderson, who also hand-picked all the Etsy vendors who participated (only 12 of us!). It was such an honor to be there, the people at West Elm were super nice and accomodating, they helped me put together an awesome area of the store with all my goods. The music was excellent! Oh, and also sales were great, thanks!!

Emily came by my little shop area, but although she did buy something I didn’t get the chance to really talk to her even for a minute because she was sorrounded by people and everyone was trying to call her attention, which I found very uncomfortable but I guess that’s why I’ve never been on TV. Ha! Anyways, she seemed very nice and despite all the distraction she even managed to give me a couple of comments on my jewelry which I appreciate a lot.

It was a great weekend, and I’m super grateful!! THANK YOU!!

I was a Featured Shop on Etsy! I can’t believe I didn’t make a post from this huge event before. Agh. It means to be at the top of the craft world for three days in a row. I was like crazy making orders, and shipping, and trying to make everyone happy. I almost lost my mind in the process, for real.

Luckily I managed pretty well and then I was able to take 6 weeks of (yes SIX!!) and spent a lot of time with my family down in Chile and Argentina. It was fantastic.

The first images for the new collection are coming to life!

My husband and I just came back from out Thanksgiving getaway down in Baja California Sur. We stayed about an hour north from Los Cabos and were able to enjoy and feel the warm of that very isolated but beautiful-beyond-words part of the world. We were in such good mood that it was impossible not to come up with amazing images. Here’s just a tiny sample, we’ll prepare a full catalog by March!
